Acrylic Sheet (PMMA)
It weighs about half as much as glass and is roughly 10 to 17 times more impact resistant. It comes in clear, tinted, frosted, opal and mirror finishes, as sheets, rods and tubes.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between acrylic and polycarbonate?
Acrylic is clearer, glossier, more scratch resistant and usually cheaper, which makes it ideal for signage, displays and decorative work. Polycarbonate is tougher and nearly unbreakable, so it is preferred where impact protection is critical, such as security glazing and machine guards.
Can acrylic be used outdoors?
Acrylic can handle some outdoor exposure, but for outdoor use we recommend polycarbonate. Polycarbonate copes better with Malaysia's heat, strong sun and heavy rain, and it is much tougher against impact. That makes it the better choice for roofing, canopies, skylights and other exposed areas. Acrylic works best indoors or in sheltered spots. Not sure which to choose? Can acrylic be bent or curved?
Yes. Acrylic softens when heated, so it can be line bent or formed into curves and custom shapes, and it keeps the new shape once cooled.
Is acrylic fire resistant?
No. Acrylic is combustible, so keep it away from open flames and high heat.
Can you cut acrylic to size?
Yes. We offer laser cutting, CNC routing and saw cutting to your exact sizes and shapes.
